Where does the Scattering take place?

The Cremains are Scattered in the waters off of Vancouver BC.  Generally unattended Scatterings are performed in different locations from the Straight of Georgia, Howe Sound, and Indian Arm.  We cater to those who would like scattering services around the Victoria and Nanaimo areas of BC as well.

When will the Scattering take place?

For unattended services the scattering takes place within 30 days of receipt of the cremated remains at our office.  If you would like the scattering to occur on a specific date or time, that can be arranged (weather permitting) at additional cost.  Please contact us for a quote

How will I know when the the ashes have been Scattered?

We will take a picture of the ceremony and return it to you via email within 24 hours of the service.  The exact location will be recorded and printed upon a certificate so that you know the final resting place of your loved one.

What if I want the ashes scattered in a specific location?

We can work with you to have the service performed anywhere off the coast of BC at additional cost.  Please contact us for a quote.

Can I have a memorial service with family and friends before scattering the ashes in the sea?

Absolutely, we can arrange for a vessel that will accommodate the number of guest you require.  Clergy can also be arranged if you need.

Does it cost more to have the ceremony take place on a specific date or at a specific location

The fact is that we don't go out on the water every day.  If you choose a specific date for the scattering to take place then we may charge you more for that service.  Please contact us for more details and a quote.

Depending where the location you request is located we may have to charge an additional fee for our travel time and additional fuel, please contact us for more details and a quote.
